Do you own a facebook account? Have you actually indulged in facebooking? If you do, I'm sure you have seen this kind of status (status? statii? statuses? your pick):
1) I am hungry/lapaq/onaka ga peko peko!/Ich habe Hunger/siot kebuluran ni
2) Off to write some reports!/Must...resist....facebook....exam...ughhhh..../keje skola manyak la hoi
3) Harini berak tige kali/kene ceret beret lak hadoi/okeh wa nak berak/alamak terkentut suda
4) Tadi ada driver macam c*bai kat (letak nama tempat di sini)/wa pegi rollerskating kat (letak nama tempat yang tak sepatutnya berrolersketan di sini) tadi lepas tu kena hon dengan semua orang/eii bodo la kapel ni drive slow gila babs arghh (ini ambil contoh dpd blog Kak D heh)
5) ajkdhakjdhakjakjdhakjdhf/ajkhdahdaoayuehqkrjhbq/*&A^&*A%DHJAKJSGA
6) Baiiii nak pegi datingggg/(letak nama orang di sini) I LOVE YOU!/Is missing (letak nama orang di sini)...
7) Life sucks/bodo la boifren@gefren aku! perangai macam c*bai! [dan kemudian berbaik semula selepas 5 saat berlalu]
8) Aku rasa gile gorjes harini.
...and so on. Well it's weird what facebook or twitter or all these microblogging sites have change the way people behave. Ok maybe not their behaviour, but, you know...do you really need to tell the world about your bowel movement, you're hungry (hell I do this a lot. Most of my fb status consisted of the word 'hungry' or 'food' in it) or even any single insignificant detail about your life????
The truth is, you don't. Because people don't care. I know that (most) other people don't care about me being hungry every half hour or so and yet I still write about that in my fb status. Why?
Because I couldn't care less too if people don't care what I think in fb. I just wanted to let the steam off my chest (atau mencari publisiti murahan).
I actually like reading other people's status, reading about what's on their mind at that moment, insignificant or not, because facebook has brought out the inner kak Joyah/kak nam/kepochi in me. Admit it, it brought out yours, too.
Another pointless entry. I wrote this because a few months back I saw this video by Christine of HappySlip, and it is so very true. Heh.

Pocket gave me this award. ^_^V

Basically, people need to be connected. (Iklan TM Net nih)
that is why the whole jail is tormenting by secluding bad people from the world.
try being cut-off from people for 1 hour? well u might enjoy that, i mean people is irritating anyway,
but try to live in an island alone for four month? then u'll be introduce to 'mr Spalding' or was it mr nike?
so its happy to know that people care about us..
(Fake or not that's another story)
and its great to know that we are not alone...
even by some random comment about u dreaming for a movie theatre buttered popcorn :D
kalau tak nak baca boleh hide update kawan2 (or simply delete kawan), tak jadi masalah ;p
pock - Well it is true that it's a joy to know that ppl care. Macam, ahhh ade gak orang kesah repekan aku ni. But this post is not about connecting, it's more abt some stuff, are better kept to yourself. Dengan kewujudan microblogging ni it's like, people ada rasa kebertanggungjawaban (ambik kau hah!) untuk update ttg hidup depa setiap masa. It's absurd!
adeck - heh no no, they are one of my source of entertainment.
heheh, betul jgak tu,
its about microblogging yek?
when someone would start by 'trying' to tell what was she up to..
'ari ni nak gi midvally, anyone heading that way?'
hoping to get feedback saying..
'me! me! lets meet up!'
till they'd even tell people that...
'nak tido daaahhh!!'
but sis, if its about u going to midvalley, then you have a motive,
hoping to see anyone there..
but by saying..'nak tido daaahhh!!'
tu apa la tujuan nyer yer?
'lets meet up in our dream' heheheh:)
like what u've just said.. who care?
(Kalau terprovoke, jangan marah yer, pocket lemah sikit fesbuk nih ^^)
pock - haha in the end kan, it doesn't matter pun what you wanna write on fb. Your fb, sukati anda lah kan. Orang nak commit suicide pun sempat lagi update status on fb..
