Ngaku chips!
A few days ago I read on chicsinred's blog about ngaku (aka arrowhead) chips. I was like, oh sounds delicious *forgets about it*.
Then yesterday my brother and his wife told us about them eating it. And my bro was like "sedaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap".
Okay now I'm intrigued. Of course, being me, when I'm excited about something, I cannot wait! Penantian suatu penyeksaan ok! So this morning my parents went to Tesco and bought ngaku. Hahaha!

Very krupkrapkrupkrap (this, is the onomatopoeia for crunchy in Malay haha) ok! Yummy. :D

Peeled ngakuI was planning to make a step by step entry, tapikan, tau tau je ngaku dah kena goreng. Haha. You can see the step by step process at Chics' blog. Only the difference is that my mom didn't dry it out. She just sliced it and went straight to the pan.

My apologies, but a lot of Americans (as far as I know) aren't fans of mushrooms.
It's not mushroom, Garg! It's something like water chesnut.
But hey, I looooooooooooove mushrooms. Shrooms, however, I have yet to taste. XD

k.nani - entah la, nama omputehnya arrowhead. sedap sedap. rasa macam kerepek pisang pun ade gak haha. lol how lah can I do a Malay class? I don't even know where to start. XD

kema - aku tak pernah makan..tau pasai benda ni pun lepas baca blog kak Chics tu la..haha. Mak aku buat sebab anak dara dia sorang ni yang suruh..kalau tak tadak pasai la dia nak buat. Muahahhaa.
